If you’re ready for Christmas Clearance sales,  check out where these stores are currently at with their markdowns.

We’ve all been patiently waiting for those deep discounts of 80-90% off to re-up our stockpiles for next Christmas, and score goodies to use as gifts during the year.

As usual, online discounts typically aren’t as high as in store markdowns so keep that in mind.

Here’s the breakdown of where stores are at in their discount cycles and what to expect based on prior sales. Be advised that every store is different and we’re already seeing some changes from previous years.

Hobby Lobby is currently 80% online and 90% off in stores today!!

Home Depot is up to 75% off in store and online but their sale started before the new year, so there might not be much out there.

Kohl’s has a lot of items up to 60% off online and the sorting feature on the website is not showing highest percent off when selected so look through the items.  In-store seems to vary with some items up to 70% off. Make sure you look to see if you have any coupons that will apply!

Lowes is up to 75% off both in stores and online but it started before the new year, so stock might be limited

Michaels has had a lot of Christmas stuff at 60-70% off and that’s still the case online and in-store. They’re a bit slow with markdown progression..

Target Christmas clearance has often dropped to 90% off in stores by January 1 – but has been slow to markdown this year. And since Target stores  have different markdown days You need to be diligent with checking each store since one location might be 70% off, while another one in the area is 90%

Their online Holiday Clearance markdowns are nowhere near as low as in-store and are currently only 15% online. Only a few physical store locations have dropped down to 70% off today but a lot of them have sent their items out to salvage early

Walgreens is up to 70% off in many stores, online is hit or miss with the discounts. Their website and app are very glitchy so shopping online from Wags has not been aggravating for years despite the option to use promo codes. Their Xmas discounts don’t typically don’t go more than 80% off.

Walmart Christmas Clearance hit 75% off online before the New Year, and many stores also have the food items included!
