Right now is the prime time to shop for Christmas clearance items. Tons of stores have already begun marking items down with some as low as 90% (Target).

A lot of people don’t realize that the clearance items included in Christmas sales are not just holiday themed seasonal products. You’ll often find stuff that can be used throughout the year like bedding and linens, kitchen utensils and food!

Many, if not most stores will continue marking “Christmas” items down until they’re 70-90% off. Stores like Target, Walmart, Hobby Lobby, Michaels, Lowe’s, Home Depot, Walgreens, CVS, and others that carry Christmas seasonal will continue to drop in price until the items are sold or removed from the sales floor.

These are the types of clearance sales that you really have to watch. You don’t want to end up waiting too long on things you really want only to find them gone when you return for the next price drop. Some stores donate holiday inventory, and others liquidate seasonal stuff to other stores in pallets. And, um, us clearance shoppers tend to buy in bulk when the discounts hit 70%+.
